Turkey Creek Substation

Emery Sapp & Sons was contracted to build the Turkey Creek Substation. This job was completed in phases, in which we had to dynamite an entire hillside. The first phase consisted of building the pad to support the substation; followed by phase two that consisted of building a concrete conduit, precast concrete trench, and the installation of grounding.

For this project, ESS cleared 2 acres of land, excavated over 69,734 cubic yards of dirt and dynamite blasted hillside material and installed 1,300 tons of concrete.
