If you’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting a Buc-ee’s Travel Center, you understand why Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS) jumped when the opportunity arose to break ground on the first location in the state of Missouri. With more than 40 stores in Texas and surrounding states, Buc-ee’s is a roadtrip staple for families across the country. As the General Contractor, ESS is performing most of this project on our own. The crews are expected to grade and excavate more than 190,000 cubic yards of dirt before installing 12,500 linear feet in underground utilities and an additional 36,000 square yards of concrete.

Maintaining close communication with our new client as well as surrounding businesses is vital to the success of this project. ESS is prioritizing flexibility to ensure every party involved feels satisfied with the work performed. This $13 million project is expected to open to the public by the end of 2023.
