Project OverviewDescripción del proyecto

Project owners NextEra Energy and Entergy are bringing 180 Megawatts of clean energy to West Memphis. The Solar Farm will fuel the region’s economic growth while addressing clean air issues and enhancing the electricity supply. Selected by Moss & Associates, Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS) has the honor of providing the subcontracted grading, excavation, and underground utilities to this expansive project.

ESS was excited for the opportunity to contribute to the solar market expansion. A member of the Emery Sapp family of brands, Rummel Construction, has continued to provide guidance throughout the project as they had a previous relationship with Moss & Associates as well as insightful experience in the solar industry. ESS looks forward to future opportunities to support this growing energy industry.

Safety is ESS’ top priority on any jobsite. When Rummel advised ESS that Moss & Associates are known for their safety focus, they were ready to meet all safety standards with ease. ESS crews consistently fill out Job Safety Analysis forms throughout the project, maintaining their commitment to safety.

With a solar farm this large, ESS is ready to attack the 20,136 cubic yards of grading and excavation. Using coordination with Moss & Associates, ESS is providing all site work on time, including the 1,929 linear feet of storm underground utilities. ESS teams are proud to be a part of bringing the West Memphis Solar Farm project to life.
