U-Haul – Lake Ozark

Project Overview

In partnership with Snyder Construction Group, Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS) laid the groundwork for a U-Haul self-storage facility located near Osage Golf Course at the Lake of the Ozarks. This development marks ESS’ third multi-story U-Haul storage project executed in collaboration with Snyder, following two successful facilities in Columbia, Missouri.

As subcontractor, ESS will perform all grading and excavation, underground utility installations, and concrete pavement across the development. Given the project’s location in a former rock quarry, crews excavated and removed extensive rock formations from the subsurface before further work could be completed. ESS utilized track hoes and off-road trucks to break, haul, and relocate the material on-site.

The project features two storage buildings: a single-story structure and a three-story climate-controlled facility. The north end of the site accommodates specialized RV and boat storage to meet the growing regional demand from residents and visitors.

ESS successfully delivered 96,000 cubic yards of earthwork, more than 5,800 linear feet of utilities, and 1,000 square yards of concrete. Through expert coordination and dedication to quality, ESS helped bring a state-of-the-art storage solution that will serve the Ozarks community for years to come.
