Don Tyson Parkway Interchange

Project Overview

The City of Springdale, AR chose Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS) as the general contractor for the construction of the Don Tyson Parkway Interchange. The interchange improved access to a major corporation's headquarters as well as created the potential for future commercial development in the surrounding area.

ESS completed the Don Tyson Parkway Interchange by moving more than 145,000 cubic yards of excavation and grading and 146,000 cubic yards of embankment improvements. Concrete work approached 6,000 square yards, with an additional 8,412 linear feet of curb and gutter. The bridge work included 6,505 linear feet of steel piling.
