Amazon Fulfillment Center – Tulsa

Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS) had the opportunity to continue its relationship with Clayco Corporation and help build a second Amazon fulfillment center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This fulfillment center is the first of its kind in Oklahoma. Same-day delivery options are expected to be available within a 40-mile radius of the fulfillment center. This building will function as a hub for storage and delivery for the company Amazon and will work in conjunction with existing Amazon centers in the metro area.

Within a span of 18 months, ESS performed more than $7 million of street improvements adjacent to the project site. This 600,000 square foot fulfillment center’s civil package included excavation, grading, and underground utilities. These improvements were done for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the City of Tulsa, Oklahoma including three turn lanes and two new streets. The LVC placement in the building pad consisted of planting base rock under the asphalt and concrete paving areas.
