What does an Intern do?
Our interns gain on the job experience while kick-starting their career in civil construction. The ESS internship program is rewarding and challenging, providing students with the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop through meaningful projects that drive our business. Interns at ESS have the opportunity to work both in the field and in an office setting.

- You’re collaborative, easily adapt to varied roles on teams from follower to leader.
- Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
- You’re not afraid to raise your hand. You have the ability to take ownership and ask for help when needed.
- You’ve perfected the whole time management thing and can juggle simultaneous duties and responsibilities
- Motivated and proactive
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or other related field
