To keep up with the exponential growth of e-commerce, Urban Outfitters picked Kansas City, KS as the site of their new distribution and fulfillment center. ESS proposed an accelerated and aggressive schedule which earned us the site work package for this project! Pouring a building’s foundation is always a crucial milestone for any vertical construction project. Because of the performance ESS crews delivered, Blue Rock Construction began foundation work more than a month ahead of schedule. These results prove that our employee-owners are dedicated to driving efficiency and big results for our partners.

Scope of Work
ESS crews mobilized quickly and efficiently in order to reach the aggressive milestones that the project demanded. They moved an impressive 600,000 cubic yards of earth in just five weeks. This meant that we were able to deliver a pad-ready site for the new 880,000 square foot fulfillment center five weeks ahead of schedule. Part of our winning strategy was the extensive amount of equipment we used. The equipment spread included a variety of about 35 pieces of equipment stationed on site.
