Discovery Parkway Extension

ESS was awarded the sitework and paving packages for the Discovery Parkway Extension project in Columbia, Missouri. Employee-owners will begin construction on this $4.5 Million project in May of 2021. The Discovery Parkway Extension will be the final leg of the Rolling Hills Road corridor around the southeast side of Columbia completing the loop from Lake of the Woods to US-63. Our employee-owners constructed a majority of the Rolling Hills Road corridor through numerous past projects, and we are excited to be on the construction team for the final phase of this important community project.

Scope of Work

In less than 300 days, our team of employee-owners will completely transform this greenway corridor from pastures and cropland into a new parkway. ESS’ scope of work will include performing the mass grading, installing an extensive storm sewer network, completing underground utility relocations, concrete paving on streets and pedways, and constructing two new overpasses over the new parkway corridor.
