Carrying on with a great partnership, Aspen Heights Construction and J.E. Dunn Construction Company contracted Emery Sapp & Sons to perform earthwork, utility and paving packages for Aspen Heights new 268,500 square feet student housing development and parking garage feature in Springfield, Missouri. The Aspen Heights Springfield housing consists of five basic unit types; two-bed,two-bath, three-bed, three-bath, and four-bed, four-bath with an average unit net area approximately 1,256 square feet.

Scope of Work
ESS excavated 5,280 cubic yards of material and imported 4,852 cubic yards of low volume change material, completed the concrete package; 788 square yards of pavement, 530 square yards of sidewalk, and 2,028 linear feet of curb and gutter. The asphalt paving package totaled 4,255 square yards. ESS installed all underground utilities approaching close to 3,000 linear feet. Lastly, ESS constructed an underground communications duct bank of 575 linear feet as well as a 1,800 square feet landscape retaining wall.
