Casey’s Distribution Center

In 2019, Emery Sapp & Sons was contracted to be the turn-key civil site contractor for the 34-acre Casey’s General Store Distribution Center in Joplin, Missouri. With a reputation for delivering speed-to-market industrial development sites, Casey's looked to ESS to construct all infrastructure for this 250,000 square foot facility.

The number one goal of this project was to accelerate the construction schedule and deliver a pad-ready site in short order. ESS proposed an aggressive schedule of just 40 working days to complete the earthwork required to be ready for slab and footings and 100 working days to complete the utilities (storm, water, sanitary sewer, fire line, and MOAM water line).

During this fast-paced construction, ESS moved more than 265,000 cubic yards of excavation, performed all clearing and grubbing, stabilized the building pads, and installed all on-site water, sanitary, and stormwater utilities. ESS exceeded all production goals and delivered a quality final product as promised.
