Supervisor Summit: Where Leaders Rise and Teams Get Stronger
Supervisor Summit 2026 is where leadership meets teamwork. We brought our leaders together for two full days of growth, grit, and ownership in action.
Real training. Real teamwork. Real results.
As our leaders arrived in Branson, MO, we began the Summit with Branch Breakout Sessions, which brought crews together and allowed for time to level set on the previous year, and share key takeaways and best practices for the future.
We kicked the fun off a little differently this year with our first-ever Equipment Rodeo. The event brought the energy early and gave our supervisors a chance to show off their skills. The Kansas City crew came out on top and will be proudly displaying the traveling championship title belt until next year.
We took some time to recognize top-tier employee-owners and partners who continue to raise the bar in safety. Thank you to Midwest Traffic Signal Services for attending the Summit and accepting our Excellence in Safety and Service Award. Congratulations as well to our Lance Trager Award recipient and Safety Team of the Year winners for setting the standard and showing what it means to live Every Second Safely.
To set the tone for the summit, former NFL player Anthony Trucks delivered a powerful keynote on resilience and the unseen work behind taking ownership. From growing up in foster care to facing a career-ending football injury, Anthony shared what it takes to push through obstacles, stay disciplined, and put in the “dark work” when no one is watching.
On Friday, groups attended breakout sessions, learning about owning their role in leadership and bridging generational gaps.
The summit closed with a powerful keynote from Chadd Wright, retired U.S. Navy SEAL, elite ultrarunner, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur. Chadd challenged our leaders to focus on positive self-talk and deliberate action, reinforcing the importance of mindset in how we show up on the job and for each other.
Where Leaders Rise and Teams Get Stronger.
As we came to a close, one thing was clear — strong crews start with strong leaders. The conversations, training, and shared experiences over these two days will carry forward to jobsites across the company, helping our supervisors lead with accountability, ownership, and purpose as we head into the year ahead.
