A New Group of Leaders

ESS is proud to announce the promotion of four Springfield team members to the position of foreman. This new group of leaders have been with the company for a combined total of nearly 40 years and have proved their dedication to their craft.

Jason Rode, Vice President said, “Together, these four gentlemen have almost 4 decades of experience working at Emery Sapp and Sons. With our expanding geographic footprint, each one of these field supervisors play a crucial role in our future success. With their experience and driven personalities they will provide invaluable mentorship to the younger generation and create efficiencies that will benefit all of us in the Emery Sapp and Sons family. The promotions are very well deserved and we are very excited to watch them flourish in their new roles. Congratulations!”

Aaron Lapierre

Aaron has been with ESS for over seven years. In his tenure with ESS, Aaron has served as a laborer, an operator, and mostly recently a foreman. He is currently working on the Rogers Heritage High School Softball Complex project in Rogers, AR. When asked what he is most excited about with this new position, Aaron answered that he is excited about “the opportunity to grow and learn.” A fun fact about Aaron is that his pump up song is “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC!

Rockford "Rocky" Pendergrass

Rocky has been with ESS for over six years, and has been working in the construction industry for nearly 30 years. “I hopped on my first dozer when I was 9 years old.” He is currently working on the Cox Hospital Monett project in Monett, MO. When asked what he is most excited about with this new position, Rocky said “I’m not an easily excited person, but the perks of the promotion like a company truck and pay raise, are definitely nice. I’m eager to see where the company is headed and I’m proud to be a part of that.” A fun fact about Rocky is that he is an expert at making homemade fruit loop moonshine!

Casey Gibbs

Casey has been with ESS for over twelve years, and in the construction industry for over fourteen years. He is currently working on The Ridge and Boyd Elementary in Springfield, MO. Casey is most excited about the perks and responsibilities that come with this new leadership position. When he’s not at work you can find Casey enjoying the outdoors hunting and fishing. A fun fact about Casey is that his number one bucket list item is visiting Washington D.C. to learn about the history and culture of the United States.

Dennis Kuhl

Dennis has been with ESS for twelve years, and in the construction industry for twenty-three years. He is currently working on the OTC Parking Lot, Shelter Insurance Field Office, and College of the Ozarks projects. When asked what he is most excited about, Dennis said, “the chance to lead a great company into the future.” When he isn’t being a rockstar on all of these construction sites, Dennis is at home growing gourmet mushrooms!
