ESS Partners with Potterfield Group to Build New Midway USA Warehouse

Columbia, Missouri – that’s our home. That’s where ESS put a stake in the ground in 1972. We’ve grown substantially over the years, but we are still laser-focused on fostering our local partnerships with our clients in the Columbia region. One such partnership is with the Potterfield Group and Midway USA. ESS has been working on conceptual plans and layouts for the Potterfield Group’s Midway USA projects since the early 2000’s. Currently, ESS teams are working on a Midway USA warehouse project strategically placed close to I-70 for optimized distribution and logistics. This warehouse provides a significantly larger amount of space for Midway USA’s use.

Midway USA is an online retailer based out of Columbia, Missouri who exclusively sells ammunition, hunting and shooting accessories, and outdoor equipment. This new 190-acre property has been designed with expansion in mind, with areas of the site already being graded and infrastructure being installed to accelerate future expansion.

ESS is making swift progress on the warehouse’s large project site. Our teams moved over 350,000 CY of dirt, and delivered a 376,000 SF stabilized building pad within 40 days of starting the project. The team continues to drive an aggressive schedule to produce a quality infrastructure product before our scheduled completion date.
