We closed the month of August with two weeks of Learn+Earn events, and we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS) welcomed professionals in the civil engineering, construction, and development community for an afternoon of career development and networking. We leveled up our game from last year and hosted these events in not three, but four different cities! Missed the opportunity to learn industry insights and earn credits? We’ve got a recap for you!

After some brief networking to kick things off, our long-time partner Brian Moore with FMI Corporation, took the floor and spoke on the industry outlook. ESS was lucky enough to have Brian at all four of our events: Springdale, Arkansas and Springfield, Columbia, and Kansas City, Missouri. 

After that intriguing keynote, we dove straight into the panel content, covering topics such as empowering employees, regional market insights, and capitalizing on opportunities in the industry. Our panelists shared their first-hand experience with each of these topics, building attendee’s market mastery and gaining workforce retention advice. Now that’s a good way to spend an afternoon!

If you secured a spot at one of this years’ events, you didn’t leave empty handed. Three FREE PDH credits were provided to all attendees. You heard that right! Of course, once the education portion wrapped up, we moved on to cold beverages and heavy apps to fuel more networking – everyone’s favorite part.
