Buc-ee’s Travel Center

Project Overview

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting a Buc-ee’s Travel Center, you understand why Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS) jumped when the opportunity arose to break ground on the first location in the state of Missouri. With more than 40 stores in Texas and surrounding states, Buc-ee’s is a roadtrip staple for families across the country. ESS crews graded and excavated more than 190,000 cubic yards of dirt before installing 12,500 linear feet in underground utilities and an additional 36,000 square yards of concrete.

Maintaining close communication with our new client as well as surrounding businesses was vital to the success of this project. ESS prioritized flexibility to ensure every party involved felt satisfied with the work performed. This $13 million project opened to the public in December of 2023.
