Project OverviewDescripción del proyecto

The City of Moberly, Missouri chose Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS) to conduct the reconstruction and installation of 5,000 feet of LED runway lights at their airport, Omar N. Bradley. The regional airport designed this project as the first step of its expansion plan aiming to increase air traffic opportunities.

The primary goal of this project was to convert the runway from asphalt to concrete. After removing the asphalt, ESS project teams reused the former runway and base rock as part of their subgrade for the concrete. This efficient method expedited the construction process and cut project costs.

ESS teams conducted 50,678 cubic yards of concrete work to install the new runway. In addition, LED lights were placed to increase vision and ability to land in inclement weather. These improvements have provided the Oman N. Bradley Airport with more air traffic possibilities and laid the foundation for future growth.
