The Ridge at Ward Branch is a massive 100-acre mixed-use development located in South Springfield, Missouri. Emery Sapp & Sons (ESS) was named as General Contractor on this project to improve sections of Route 160, otherwise known as Campbell Avenue. The land sits adjacent to the Library Center on South Campbell Avenue.

ESS did a tremendous amount of blasting and rock breaking during this project. This was a challenge in itself considering the size of the job site. It was crucial that our skilled operators performed as precisely and efficiently as possible so the project schedule could continue moving forward. It was also imperative that all personnel on site had the necessary PPE at all times.

Additional scopes of work include the construction of new public roads, driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, trails, and community gathering spaces. Crews also realigned various medians and intersections, relocated utilities and traffic controls, and installed landscaping, curbing, lighting, and irrigation systems. ESS self-performed an impressive 92% of this project and looks forward to continuing our relationship with RW Development.
