The city of Columbia contracted Emery Sapp and Sons (ESS) to reconstruct and improve Taxiway A of the Columbia Regional Airport. This project consisted of removing and replacing 1,500 linear feet of concrete piping, 35,000 cubic yards of material excavation, and nearly 46,000 square yards of concrete paving to complete the taxiway.
