The Community of Old Hawthorne is a private residential golf community east of downtown Columbia, Missouri on Highway WW. This community is located on a 600-acre tract of land, featuring an 18 hole championship golf course, nearly 400 single-family custom home sites, and a neighborhood commercial site along Highway WW. Emery Sapp & Sons were the general contractor for all site development for the project, performing all of the excavation and grading, installation of water and sewer lines, paving of streets, sidewalks, cart paths and parking lots and construction of stormwater features.

Scope of Work
Upon completion of this massive 600-acre single-family residence, the final scope for ESS included 75,000 cubic yards of excavation and grading, 115,456 square yards of concrete paving, and just over 124,000 linear feet of combined underground utilities.
