Mercy Joplin Clinic
Joplin, MO
Emery Sapp and Sons were contracted by Mercy and Larry Synder Construction to demolish existing infrastructure and construct a roadway extension from the Joplin Hospital roundabout to the site of the new Mercy Joplin Clinic. In addition to the roadway construction, ESS’s contract included the complete site package and building pad for the new clinic. With the time constraints of the project, the goal was to construct a building pad right away so the building contractor could go to work. Next, all the surrounding site work had to be completed while providing access to the building site for multiple building subcontractors. Project communication and coordination were key to working with the building contractor to keep ESS crews efficient and meet the time schedule for overall completion.
