The Inland Port Building 14 was leased to Amazon by NorthPoint, a local real-estate developer that focuses on industrial, multifamily housing and senior living projects throughout the Midwest. This 822,104-square-foot fulfillment center will provide 1,000 jobs for the city of Edgerton, Kansas and is an impressive addition to the many industrial distribution centers in the midwest.

Scope of Work
This project offered an accelerated schedule and involved the addition of parking areas, storm sewer and sanitary facilities. ESS teams tackled the challenge of a speedy turnaround head on. Immediately after receiving the plans, the team began working on the project and making modifications to an existing facility. In less than 4 months, ESS developed a fast-track schedule and meticulous phasing plan to efficiently finish all grading and paving elements at a best-in-class rate.
