Following a fuel hydrant system replacement, Emery Sapp & Sons was chosen to construct an 18″ concrete pavement in-fill for a concrete apron. In the design-build process, 18” concrete was chosen to withstand the impact of aircraft loads to mitigate the need for repair.
The Army Corps of Engineers held stringent specifications on the project. Meeting the specifications, ESS performed erosion control, earthwork, underground utilities, concrete paving, concrete retaining walls, modular block retaining walls, topsoil, and seeding.
