Discovery Park is a 104.6-acre plat in southeast Columbia. Emery Sapp & Sons were proud to “Lay the Groundwork” for the largest mixed-use project ever in mid-Missouri. This mega project was separated into three smaller projects with a chance of a fourth project developing latter. The construction on the apartments has been broken up into phases. The first phase consisted of building 274 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment units. Phase two will add another 336 units.

Scope of Work
For this job, we partnered with Trittenbach Development to excavate 24,000 cubic yards and pave 23,000 square yards for the construction of Discovery Park Apartments and surrounding office space. In addition, we also installed roughly 15,000 linear feet of underground utility piping for the site in preparation for a possible second office park and even a hotel site.
