ESS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Whether it’s a small scholarship to a local student or a large grant to an organization working across several states, the ESS Foundation is committed to engaging in opportunities that align with the ESS Foundation’s ultimate goal of improving the quality of life for our current and future workforce for generations to come.
The ESS Foundation Scholarship is $1,500 per year up to four years. A runner-up scholarship may be rewarded for $500 per year up to four years.
Annual Award Amount: $500 – $1,500

KANSAS CITY CHAPTER, AGC
Established in 1994, The Builders’ Association Scholarship Foundation uses investment income from the scholarship endowment fund to create scholarships for outstanding individuals preparing for a career in construction within the area served by the Association. Through members’ generous donations, the fund now exceeds $1,000,000. To be eligible, applicants must plan to be a full-time college student in the Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 semester studying in a construction-related program (construction management, engineering, or architecture). Undergraduate Scholarship
The Undergraduate Scholarships are $2,500 and can be renewed for up to three years.
Annual Award Amount: $2,500
Graduate Scholarship
The Graduate Scholarships are $3,750 and can be renewed twice.
Annual Award Amount: $3,750
Workforce Development Scholarship
Not interested in going to a four year college? That’s okay! The Workforce Development Scholarship is for students pursuing an associate’s degree, technical training or certificates to enter the construction industry.
Annual Award Amount: $1,000
KC NUCA SCHOLARSHIP
The NUCA Foundation has awarded over a quarter million dollars in scholarship funds since 2004. Any high school senior whose parent or legal guardian is employed by a NUCA member company in good standing at the time of the application deadline may apply. This includes dependents of employees of NUCA members, high school student employees of NUCA members, and dependents of NUCA Chapter Executive Directors. The KC NUCA Scholarship is a $6,000 scholarship payable at $750.00 per semester for up to eight semesters. A runner-up KC NUCA Scholarship may be awarded at the committee’s discretion in the amount of $2,000, payable at $250 per semester for up to eight semesters.
Annual Award Amount: $200 – $750 per semester
NAWIC FOUNDERS SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION
The NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship Foundation (NFSF) was established in 1963 by NAWIC to assist in providing the construction industry with trained employees through higher education. Construction is the only industry that encompasses almost every professional discipline. In order to be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled in a construction-related degree program, and must have a least one term remaining in a course of study leading to a degree or an associate degree in a construction-related field. Construction Trades Scholarship
Those who are currently enrolled in a construction-related training program which is approved by the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training, community college, technical school or equivalent OR are currently obtaining a training degree in a construction-related craft or trade may be considered eligible for this scholarship.
Annual Award Amount: $500 – $2,500
Undergraduate Scholarship
Those who desire a career in the construction industry, and are currently enrolled in a construction-related degree program at a school in the United States and must have a least one term remaining in a course of study leading to a degree or an associate degree in a construction-related field may be eligible for this scholarship.
Annual Award Amount: $500 – $2,500
KANSAS CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Kansas Contractors Association is offering scholarships ranging from $500 up to $2,500 for any student enrolled or intending to enroll for the 2020/2021 school year, in a construction management, construction science, construction engineering technology or related field of study at an accredited Kansas university, community college or technical college.
Annual Award Amount: $500 – $2,500
