Project Summary
The Lakewood Business Center and I-470 Business and Technology Center constitutes a 65 acre Industrial flex/tech business park in Lee's Summit, MO.
Project Features
- Emery Sapp & Sons Inc was selected by the owner to perform the site development work which consisted of mass grading, sanitary sewer, storm sewers, waterlines and concrete pavement. The storm water management system was a significant feature of the development. It required diverting a jurisdictional stream into underground piping system which was done utilizing Contech's Ultraflo pipe in sizes ranging from 66 inches to 108 inches in diameter. The storm water system included 50 storm structures, from standard curb inlets to 11' x 11' x 25' junction boxes. A large outflow structure and detention basin was also constructed allowing for effective water quality control monitoring.
