Cross Creek Center is a mixed commercial development on part of a 60 acre tract located at the intersection of Stadium Boulevard ( Rte 763) and U.S. Highway 63.

• Emery Sapp & Sons Inc was selected as the contractor by the Cross Creek Center TDD for installation of transportation related improvements after the site had been cleared and graded by a different contractor. The work performed by Emery Sapp & Sons Inc included the extension and widening of Stadium Boulevard, relocation of a portion of Cinnamon Hills Lane, additional lanes on existing Stadium Boulevard and access and exit ramps on U.S. 63 highway, 3 traffic signals and construction of storm sewers and retaining walls necessary for the roadway improvements.
• Emery Sapp & Sons Inc’s work was impacted by the high level of local interest in the development primarily due to concerns raised during the initial clearing and grading by others. The location is highly visible and encompasses the confluence of the North Fork and the South Fork of the Grindstone Creek, an environmentally sensitive stream. Emery Sapp & Sons Inc had to maintain an extraordinary high level of erosion control and sediment containment to avoid further difficulties for the owner.
